Mission Statement
The mission of the DC 37 Jewish Heritage Committee is to:

Bring together individuals of the Jewish faith to discuss issues of importance to our heritage and our everyday environment.
Encourage non-Jews to participate in our committee and events to foster understanding of multi-cultural issues in our society.
Foster communication between the community and union members.
Be charitable as a group to institutions that need our assistance.
Become familiar with community groups through various events and encourage participation in these events.
Share our heritage with each other at special events such as the lighting of the Hanukkah candles at DC 37.
Encourage and foster understanding of Jewish social issues to our members.
