Education Committee Scholarship

The DC 37 Education Committee awards four scholarships in the amount of $1,000. The recipients must be currently enrolled in the first or second year of a 2-year or 4-year college, technical school, business school or culinary institute. Each award may only be received one time.

Overcoming Obstacles Scholarship

The DC 37 Education Committee awards two (2) scholarships to applicants who are overcoming physical or learning challenges. When the winners are selected, he/she will be required to submit proof of disability in accordance with the guidelines in the application packet. The recipients must be currently enrolled in the first or second year of a 2-year or 4-year college, technical school, business school or culinary institute. Each award is $1,000 and may only be received one time.

Evelyn Gaskin Memorial Scholarship

The DC 37 Education Committee awards two (2) Evelyn Gaskin Memorial Scholarships. Registration is open to applicants who will be pursuing a career in Education. When the winners are selected, he/she will be required to submit proof of enrollment in an Education degree program in accordance with the guidelines in the application packet. The recipients must be currently enrolled in the first or second year of a 2-year or 4-year college, technical school, business school or culinary institute. Each award is $1,000 and may only be received one time.
