DC 37 Education Fund Classes: Allied Health Training Programs

These programs reflect the needs and trends of health care delivery in New York City. These programs are:

Patient Care Associate (PCA)
Patient Care Technician (PCT)
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
Pysch Technicians
Maternal Child Care Technician (MCCT)
Operating Room Technician (ORT)
Central Sterile Supply (CSS)
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Prep

These programs are initiated by the city hospitals themselves and are collaborative initiatives between the Allied Health Unit of the DC 37 Education Fund and the Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC). The Allied Health Unit offers basic skills preparation courses for the students selected by each facility for these various programs.
