Topol, real trailblazer

I was very pleased to read that Julius Topol has been honored by DC 37 naming the MELS law library for him. Free legal services for union members became a reality thanks to his pioneering vision, and the DC 37 pilot project was adopted by many other unions.

I remember Julie’s deep sense of social justice, his warm sense of humor and lively intellect. Nice to see a real trailblazer so appropriately remembered!
