Brotherhood group lauds Roberts

DC 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts was honored Feb. 27 by the New York State Employees Brotherhood Committee at their 59th annual Brotherhood Observance Awards luncheon.

"We are very proud to honor Ms. Roberts for her continued dedication and hard work on behalf of union members from all walks of life, from every ethnic group and religion," said Committee Chair Radhakrishna Mohan, at the luncheon.

"DC 37 is an example of brotherhood and diversity and has been for a long time," said Roberts. "So I'm very proud to receive this award on behalf of our members."

The Brotherhood Award was presented to Roberts by DC 37 Treasurer and Local 1407 President Maf Misbah Uddin.

The group also honored State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli and Jemma Marie-Hanson, regional coordinator for the New York State Public Employees Federation.
