Stop $1.3 Billion in NYS Budget Cuts!

Governor David Paterson's proposed 2011 Executive Budget would cost New York City more than $1.3 billion in essential funds for vital services to the neediest New Yorkers.

• NYC Department of Education - cut $500 million
• Health and Hospitals Corporation - cut $95 million
• Social Services - cut $90 million
• Aid to Municipalities - cut $650 million

New York City cannot endure more cuts. Children, patients, seniors, the homeless and taxpayers will all suffer from these devastating cuts. DC 37 members, the dedicated public employees who provide cost-effective services to all New Yorkers, are opposed to the cutbacks.
