DC 37 leader honored at Bronx Black History Month celebrations

Executive Director Lillian Roberts (right) receives the Citation of Merit from Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion (left) during a Black History Month celebration in the Bronx on Wednesday, February 7. Ms. Roberts was cited “in recognition of your accomplishments, contributions and commitment to the communities of New York, the Bronx honors you tonight”.

The ceremony also honored several of the city’s distinguished African-Americans for their contributions to the city.

District Council 37 is the city's largest public employee union with 125,000 members and 50,000 retirees.
