DC 37 Executive Director lauds judicial ruling in favor of additional school funding

District Council 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts (center), joined by several labor leaders and elected officials, lauds a judicial ruling mandating billions in additional school funding for New York City schools during a press conference on the City Hall steps on Wednesday, February 16. Ms. Roberts also called on Governor Pataki to not appeal the ruling.

DC 37 is the city's largest public employee union representing 121,000 members and 50,000 retirees.
