Michael Troman
President, Local 375
Troman began his career with the City of New York in 1974 with the Human Resource Administration, a super agency. His work at the agency involved the construction of welfare sites, food stamp and Medicaid offices, shelters, and child welfare offices.
He is President of Chapter 31 (HRA), a position he held for approximately 30 years. Troman also serves as a grievance representative for the local, helping his members with grievances and disciplinary issues.
He is a Central Labor Council delegate and serves as Pension Chair for DC 37. He holds a B.A. and M.A.
“I am Union proud, being a union member for over 45 years,” Troman said. “I strive to help the Union serve our members. I represent architects and engineers, among others. Together with DC 37, we build New York City.”
