COBRA-Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act

Under the COBRA law, members have the right to purchase continuation coverage of Welfare Fund Benefit. To continue basic Health Insurance under the COBRA law members should contact their personnel office.

Note: Beginning Friday, May 17, 2024, DC 37 Health & Security Plan’s offices will no longer be located at 55 Water Street. If you need immediate assistance and cannot reach us by telephone (212-815-1234), please visit the DC 37 Walk-In Center located at 420 W. 45th Street starting Monday, May 20. The DC 37 Walk-In Center will be open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. to assist you with any H&S benefit needs.

The Welfare Fund benefits available are:

Dental, Vision care, Audiology, Supplemental Surgical and Prescription Drug (optional).

In order to continue these Welfare Fund Benefits, there must be a qualifying event as listed.
