AutoCAD by AutoDesk Program with City College/Center for Workers Education (In-Person).
AutoCAD Fundamentals I:
This course covers essential core topics for working with the AutoCAD (computer aided Designs) software. The course begins with learning the basic tools for creating and editing 2D drawings. Essential tools and concepts include understanding the AutoCAD workspace and user interface; Using basic drawing, editing, and viewing tools; Organizing drawing objects on layers; Using reusable symbols (blocks); Preparing a layout to be plotted; Adding text, hatching, and dimensions. This in-person program is with City College/Center for Workers Education for a totally of 7 weeks. Class meets twice per week.
28 hours of Instruction
Requirements:
Students must be comfortable manipulating Microsoft Office applications.
Class meets twice per week for a total of 28 hours of instructions.
