Critical Thinking Skills
This course relies on mastery of basic comprehension, which assisted you to understand what you read and select the best response with the goal of improved scores on objective assessments. Critical thinking will enable you to evaluate what you read and determine whether it you should believe it.
These higher order-thinking skills are crucial to success in college and advancement in the workplace.
You will learn:
- Improved comprehension skills
- To identify text structure and organization
- Recognize and differentiate primary and secondary sources
- Recalling and summarizing information
- Retelling and recognizing key points
- Understanding literal and figurative language
- Applying reasoning and logic to verify facts
