Local 299 rewards top scholars
Earlier this year, eight hardworking students were honored by Local 299 for their academic achievements. Local 299 President Jackie Rowe-Adams, established the scholarship, named after Rev. Mychal Judge, a Local 299 FDNY Chaplain killed while assisting first responders on Sept. 11 at the World Trade Center.
The students this year were Briana Adams, Chloe Anjeli Ros, Uslaa Abehnisabree, Jaden Wood, Joh Haas, Emmanuel Olaniyan, Zaire Nicole Thomas, and Jonah Bravo.
