Shooting survivor visits DC 37
Mei-Ling Ho-Shing, who lives in Florida and survived the recent mass shooting at Marjory Stoneham Douglas High School, was one of the many participants at a union conference held at DC 37.
The conference, presented by the Latino Leadership Institute, addressed strategies to involve more women in electoral politics. Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer, Public Advocate Letitia James, activists from Transport Workers Union Local 100 and Local 372 also participated.
