Statement on District Council 37’s Elections
NEW YORK— Tuesday night, District Council 37’s delegate members overwhelmingly reelected Henry Garrido to a fourth three-year term as the union’s Executive Director. Garrido first took office in January 2015, becoming the first Latino to head DC 37 since it was formed in 1944.

I also want to congratulate DC 37 President Shaun D. Francois I, Secretary John Hyslop, and Treasurer Maf Misbah Uddin on their reelection last night.
